Responsibilities

• You act as business manager and create with the Sales Director and the country managers action plans for distribution & retail strategy, brand strategy, product positioning, promotions , project development support etc.
• Through close collaboration with sales & customers you will develop:

• Flooring market understanding (route to market, customer segments, competition,…)

• Yearly Marketing strategy & action plan (incl. B2C and B2B actions)

• Appealing and relevant retail stores (standard & MTO)

• You will manage the Non-Strategic Marketing budget assigned for these activities & always drive ROI.
• You support our sales teams by

• Keeping them up-to-date about what’s happening at Unilin

• Helping them to create a group of loyal customers (communication plan, events,…)

• Giving training about and driving adoption of digital tools which help them to work efficiently on day-to-day basis

• Main scope = Greater China / secondary = other Export markets (…)
• You will directly report to the Sales Director , with dotted line top the Global Market Manager
• You will direct a small local marketing team
• You will be stationed in Shanghai

Profile

• Master degree

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in a B2B environment

• Helicopter view – ability to act as a business manager

• Commercial skills and fluent communication, both internally (colleagues in Sales, Marketing and other departments) and externally (customers)

• Experience in digital marketing initiatives

• Mature en assertive personality

• Teamplayer who can work independently

• Structured, multi-tasker

• Language skills – CN, ENG: fluent
