Position Summary
The position is responsible for maintaining and growing business by managing a National portfolios of high-spend Multi National Customers in Strategic or Large Market segment based in China.
The Large Market Client Manager position must be able to establish strong, personal, and long-lasting relationships with clients and teams within CITS American Express Business Travel. This position is also requested to utilize consultative selling skills and knowledge of the travel industry to provide solutions and cross-selling products that directly meet client business needs and increases profitability to CITS American Express.
Key Responsibilities:
- To execute and ensure a defined customer contact plan to establish relationships and appropriate contact with corporate travel arranger, key contacts/personnel (CFO, Procurement, Management) within portfolio to ensure highest satisfaction with CITS American Express.
- Ensure in-depth understanding of client’s company culture / structure in China for the portfolio and Team managed
- Ensure all communications received from the Leaders and Regional Relationship Managers and Global Managers are cascaded and distributed timely.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, service level agreements and ensures team members take corrective action to addresses issues if service level not met.
- Active participation in client key meetings and business review process within Team managed.
- Lead & facilitate negotiations of contracts, pricing to drive profitability.

4) Strong PC knowledge including related PowerPoint/Excel/Email skills

6) Proficient in Chinese and English speaking skills
7) Strong analytical skills.
8) Have a pleasant personality, approachable presence, must be customer focus
9) Ability to work under tremendous pressure.
10) Good presentation skills.
11) Strong knowledge base of China travel agency operations and cost structures, suppliers, travel patterns, technologies, and local regulatory requirements and local customs (would be added advantage).
