Job Description
Job Responsibility:
- Be responsible for exploration capital equipment, RDT (Rock Drilling Tools) and aftermarket sales of exploration in China Mainland
- Grow GDE business of Epiroc Greater China through active Direct and Indirect sales
- Increase GDE market presence and market share as much as we can
- Increase CUSTOMER SHARE through Key Accounts Management improvement
- Strongly support existing distributors and develop new indirect sales channels, establish a solid and active distributors & resellers networks
- Develop direct sales, and seek for new potential market
- Synergy with other Business Line’s sales team to approach new distributors/re-sellers and potential market, listen to and identify customers’ needs, and provide them optimized solution and support
- Carry out market investigation and provide relevant market information to GDE divisional managements to establish price policy and market share
- Keep good relationships with customers and distributors/re-sellers.
- Look through and confirm the contract and decide the price and payment condition of products within the authorized limits
- Safeguard that Distributors/Re-sellers and Customer will respect the terms of future sales contracts (Payment Terms)
- Actively involved and participated in the integration for the assigned role in business development projects
- Ensure a cross functional team work with project members from different part of the organization including interface with Customer Centers and Production Companies in Greater China under the guidance of the Divisions
- Support business development plan and product portfolio development to strengthen the competitive position with special focus on Chinese market
- Benchmark the advantages of Chinese competitors, propose and support the best practice within the organization
- Interact with RDT(Rock Drilling Tools)&MRS(Mining and Rock Excavation Service) team to provide the best solutions and service to customers and distributors/re-sellers
- Deliver an over-satisfied service to customer as our vision: “Being our customers’ first choice”
- Provide feedbacks on products quality, product trends and competitors development to the Marketing and Management of SED(Surface and Exploration Drilling) Divisions
- To achieve Epiroc “to be customer First in Choice” of the market by value added and care service to the current and potential customers.
- Follow the company policies as stated in The Epiroc Way, including the Code of Conduct and Compliance issues.
Experience Requirements:
- A proven track records in sales with a minimum 5 years’ experience in Exploration Industry.
- Good experience in indirect and direct sales management.
Knowledge / Educational Requirements:
- Good presentation skills, strong leadership.
- Able to communicate in English, computer literacy.
- University degree or equivalent in Engineering
- Mining and rock excavation application knowledge is a preference, especially in exploration background.
