With its’fast business expansion in China, an opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Manager.

Position: Purchasing Manager

Supervisor: Commercial Director

§ Promotion and realization of company’s targets and quality requirements.

§ Active support of continuous improvement spirit.

§ Actively support EMS implementation, continuous application and targets achieving

This specific position:

§ Set up a strong purchase team, strengthen the capability of team member;

§ Set-up, support and roll-out the global procurement strategy of the company.

§ Responsible for supplier sourcing, selection and management (all direct & indirect materials) in agreement with global standardized criteria and processes as well as in cooperation with the Global Commodity Leaders.

§ Secure material deliveries from Regional sources to all Client facilities and from foreign sources to ACN with secured supply chain concepts.

§ Set up and running Sourcing Board in according to given standards

§ Improve process of purchasing and supply chain to be transparent and efficient

§ Ensure yearly cost savings over supply base in cooperation with the Regions and Global Commodity Leaders.

Special authorization and duties:

§ The purchasing Manager sign all relevant orders and purchasing contracts in cooperation with the Commercial Director.

§ Negotiate all necessary contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure material quality, on-time delivery and inventory control.

Description of the activities:

§ Support Purchasing team and other LE’s to solve supplier delivery issues (trouble shooting).

§ Regional escalating of supplier issues to Global Commodity Leaders and Regional top management.

§ Support and conduct supplier selection for projects as well as for serial production with search of potential sourcing options and implement RFQ and negotiation.

§ Preparation and support of all purchasing decision ACN according to purchasing rules (sourcing board).

§ Analysis of suppliers for prices and technical capabilities.

§ Negotiate contracts with suppliers for all important frame aspects like price and delivery, involvement and support for all relevant logistic optimization, in cooperation with Supply Chain Team.

§ Initiate and follow-up on necessary improvements of the suppliers.

§ Cooperate with Supplier Quality Assurance to develop quality concept and system to secure the quality standards.

§ Set up and maintaining a system to surveillance of all suppliers according to Global standards.

§ Surveillance and secure supplier capacity for new projects and running business.

§ Utilizing the existing ERP system to max. extent for all supplier relevant information

§ Reporting to Region and Global according to definitions.

§ Manage, develop and train team members and subordinates.

§ Set up and manage department KPI

Demands on associate:

§ Bachelor or above

§ 15+ working experience in dealing with European or American companies

§ Sound knowledge of Regional supplier market

§ Successful leading purchase team and reach cost saving target

§ Familiar with IATF16949 is a plus

§ Strong knowledge and purchase experience in plastic injections is preferred

§ Knowledge and purchase experience in foil or felt/foam will be a plus

§ Open minded, “can do” attitude;

§ Able to act under pressure; MATURE

§ Proactive to push and capable to confront the conflict

§ Knowledge of automotive industry standards

§ Solid English language skill, German speaking is a plus

§ Integrity, responsible, strategic thinking, team-player
