Create partnership with customer, helping customer in mechanical problems.

Analyzes customer requirements.

Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.

Join mechanical vendor selection and qualification work

Support to share know-how in the teams in other Orbis site.

Creating mechanical drawings(3D, 2D and assembly drawings) and project documentation

Internal and marketing documentation for customer process (production, NPI or R&D)

Instruct technician in critical assembly step, work instruction documentation

Analyze problem related mechanical design on customer site

Has understanding to every chains of project management, know how to proceed project

Other task assigned by supervisor

Area or Responsibility:

Mechanical Engineer is responsible of mechanical design, improvements and modifications in customer project. Scope of the project is typically test adapters, test fixtures and functional testing systems.

Capability of concept design is very important for this position.

Project management sense is needed for this position

Education:

Requires a Bachelor’s/Masters Degree in mechanics

Language skills:

Fluent spoken and written English, Chinese

Work Experience:

Over 5 years professional experience of mechanics design

Master drawing software Solidworks

Special skills/requirements for the job:

Technical knowledge of plastic, sheet metal and mixed machinery parts

Experience of surface treatment (powder coating, anodizing and plating

Experience of test racks

Experience of production automation

Experience of fixture design

Expected travel days per year:

Mostly local travel to customer sites, some outstation travels both domestic and over sea.
