Principal duties and responsibilities :

• Develop algorithms for wake-up word recognition.
• ASR performance diagnosis and tuning
• Research and develop speech solutions for various speech recognition tasks.
• Develop tools and test grammars for various applications.
• Develop demos and products on various HW/SW platforms like Windows, Android, Linux, QNX devices.
• NLU model training and performance tuning
• Support business department on demo/workshop.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Education: MS/PhD in speech recognition, computer science, EE, math or related field.

Minimum years of work experience: 1~4 years

Required skills:

• Solid machine learning background and familiar with standard speech and machine learning techniques.
• Experience on running accuracy experiments and systematically improving performance.
• Self-driven and diligent for solving real world problems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming skills and script programming (Bash/Python/Perl/Matlab).
• Native speaker of Chinese.
• Ability to manage tasks and deliverables for simultaneous projects.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team.

Preferred skills: Fluent English communication, good communication skills.

Accomplished coder – can realize research ideas effectively.
