1. Site planning, co-ordination, supervision and inspection of civil and structural works. Monitoring work progress to ensure good quality of the design and construction of the project and also timely completion within the specific periods.

2. Ensure SHE compliance in the design, construction and for operation.

3. Coordinate with relating parties and assist in submitting weekly, monthly and quarterly project highlights to the Project Manager.

4. Assist Construction Manager in carrying out site Civil and Structure inspection/acceptance work.

5. Responsible for the development of the project Quality plan and supervision of all amendments and revisions;

6. Monitor all quality related activities on the project;

7. Liaise with lead engineers and construction manager to identify the root cause of non-conformance items and implement the procedures for corrective action and prevention;

8. Ensure that quality is fully integrated, in the project team and also within all the contractors' activities;

9. Assist to liaise with various local statutory departments as required

10. Progressively follow up with as built documents & drawings hand-over all through the project execution.

11. Assist Construction Manager in carrying out site progress, forward plan, improvement initiatives or discussing irregularities

12. Ensure project civil and jetty marine structure in line with Chinese standard, code

13. Represent the owner for prefabricated components inspection at the vendors’ workshop

14. Site problem solving

Qualification

• Major in Civil & Structure or relevant engineering.
• 10+ years related experience in terminal field, especially for marine jetty and piling.
• Familiar with relevant domestic/international standards.
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese is a must
• Skilled in office PC application programs, especially in Auto-cad.
• Capable of independently analysis, handle problems.
• Hardworking and able to work under pressure.
• Proven project experience on jetty construction along Yangtze River
• Familiar with civil, structure construction requirement along Yangtze River
