Purpose
  • The receptionist contributes to efficient day-to-day operations of Norton Rose Shanghai office, and support the work of management, and other staff members.


Key Responsibilities

The Receptionist is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:

Reception

  • To answer general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • To direct phone inquires to the appropriate staff members
  • To reply to general information requests with the accurate information
  • To greet visitors to the firm in a professional and friendly manner

Office Administration

  • To assist Office Manager with administrative-related functions
  • To assist Office Manager to handle meeting/conference as required
  • To handle travel arrangements, such as booking flights and reserve hotel rooms
  • To handle business card requisition
  • To handle courier/DHL service and sort out monthly bills
  • To handle car bookings
  • To make records for video conferences, conference room allocation, car leasing and meters of copiers.
  • To create spreadsheets, compose correspondence, manage database and reports as required
  • To update internal notice board
  • Marketing brochure management
  • Plant maintenance
