1. Integrate and co-ordinate with PM

2. Integrate and co-ordinate with 3rd Harbour and subcontractors from site preparation till the completion of the project. Witness specific milestones and agreed construction aspects.

3. Assist PM to communicate with authorities, if necessary to take the lead to provide information or get additional necessary approvals to avoid any delay for construction.

4. Coordinate with the Vopak Terminal Zhangjiagang focal point or relevant personnel to ensure no interruption of the terminal operations

5. On behalf of the owner to attend daily construction meeting with 3rd Harbour to check, supervise and control the site construction progress.

6. Supervise the engineers to check the site construction in accordance with the engineering design.

7. Identify, raise to PM and potential coordinate to find out the solution for any conflict between design and site status.

8. Ensure that all of the construction activities are carried out in line with the local codes and regulations.

9. Accountable for the SHE performance on the construction site. Together with the SHE Manager ensure and improve SHE behaviour through visible safety leadership and routine walks and reviews

10. Co-ordinate via the Project Controller, the project progress through cost & schedule and monthly reporting.

11. Responsible for technical communication and coordination

12. Participate in constructability review meetings held by the design institute and EPC contractors

13. Regular report and communication with local governmental authorities

Qualifications

1. Junior college Bachelor engineering degree or above in civil or marine engineering.

2. 10+ years professional work experience.

3. Proven experience as construction manager on a jetty construction

4. Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese is a must

5. Familiar with office software.

6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and team work ability.

7. Work independently.

8. Self-motivated, highly integrity and preciseness.

9. Proven project experience on jetty construction along Yangtze River

10. Familiar with workflow and governmental requirements along Yangtze River
