AI Software Engineer/Manager

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineering Manager to join a global powerhouse to work on game-changing projects and to work with switched on engineers. You will be responsible for managing a cross functional team working on pre-sales, software development and support both for AI and video. The successful candidate will help shape the responsibilities and build the team.

• Manage a multi-functional team supporting customers, assisting with development and support legacy products.
• Manage the recruitment of technical staff for your team
• Provide technical guidance to others on the team.
• Task manage and track using project management tools
• Conducting Performance Reviews
• Produce regular progress/status updates
• Risk Identification and Communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics/computing/Software etc.
• Demonstrable experience in similar engineering management role
• Line management experience of team leads
• Experience with project management tools
• Proactively identify and address issues
• Experience or a strong interest in Artificial intelligence.
• Experience or a strong interest in Video decoder or Video encode
• An appreciation of computer architecture concepts (CPU, Cache, MMU, Memory, etc.)
