As a Mechanical Product Developer (Mechanical Engineer) you will be developing, advancing, and deploying the coolest video display systems in the world. You will be responsible for engineering aspects of our digital display technology which include research and develop new product from concept to production release as well as follow up all design changes, component approvals, print updates, and vendor / supplier communications after release. The incumbent will also be responsible for employing industry standards into designs, applying formal problem solving techniques as required, and keeping a strong communication link with team members at the Canadian office.

To meet the challenge of being a Mechanical Developer you will need:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum five years relevant experience in the design of mechanical, and preferably LED and LCD flat panel

• Manufacturing industry experience with exposure with Quality Control systems and processes

• Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

• Ability in working with Suppliers & Manufacturers both internal and external in Asia Global.

• Proficient in the use of 3D Parametric Solid Modeling CAD Software Packages, preferably Solid Works, and the development of detailed engineering drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerance techniques

• CAE experience in thermal and force simulation analysis optional.

• Solid knowledge in engineering material application, rich experience designing the following components and system: injection molded plastic parts, sheet metal parts, die-cast parts, machined parts and assemblies or mechanisms.

• Experience using design tools such as: DFMEA, Poka-Yoke, TSU (Tolerance Stack Up analysis)

• Strong problem solving skills

• An exceptional team player with experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
