Job Description

Production Forecast and Planning

?Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for China

?Communicate business impact of demand effectively to executives in English

?Coordinate bi-weekly cross functional meeting with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and finance to ensure forecast is accurate, understood, and approved

?Own the production forecast and scheduling in Visual ERP for all China sites – Analyze, enter and/or update approved forecast weekly

?Analyze BOM and BOP within Engineering Masters and communicate needed changes/issues effectively

?Communicate with Project Managers/Site Operations manager on product schedule (arrival and want date)

?Coordinate with site Production Supervisors on the production schedule, machine capacity planning, and labor planning

?Coordinate with Supply chain for material planning

?Communicate with Finance on forecasts and cash flow impacts

?Review all customer orders and work orders to ensure they are being worked and completed

?Hold production supervisors, inventory leads, and other team members accountable

?Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests

?Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements

?Implements change

?Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Chinese

?Ability to analyze data effectively and efficiently

?Experience with Infor Visual ERP system a plus

?Understand how customer demand drives Material Resource Planning and Cash Flow

?Good interpersonal skills (compassion, empathy, listening, teaching and mentoring)

?Microsoft skills – Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint

?Data mining skills – SQL a plus

?Process Improvement – Six Sigma

?Work with multiple departments to achieve company goals
