Learning and Development Manager

Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to help our employees advance their skills and knowledge.
In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. Excellent communication skills are essential. Learning and development managers are responsible for the creation and delivery of bespoke training programmes. Designed with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind, the intention is to expand on the talents and skills across all employees at all levels with in an organisation.
Knowledge of the company, its clients and business strategy are all key, as these will be taken into consideration when establishing the training and performance programmes.
The role of the learning and development manager is to fundamentally assist in the organisation’s success, by coaching and developing its people. Ultimately, you will help our company succeed by training and developing its people.
Learning and Development Manager Responsibilities include:
? Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs
? Working with all departments and dept. heads – PT, Sales, Ops, H/R, Marketing
? Designing learning courses, career plans, workshops and more
? Maintaining budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants Responsibilities
? Create and execute learning strategies and programs
? Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
? Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
? Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning
opportunities
? Help managers develop their team members through career pathing and succession plans
? Track budgets and negotiate contracts for any third party work that may be required
? Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists/Instructors
Learning and development manager skills and competencies
This role requires someone with good communication skills and who is keen to assist people with their learning and development. Experience in e-learning course design and budget management are desirable.
Learning and development managers will be expected to be experienced in the following:
? Management, development and talent training
? Designing and supplying a variety of training styles
? Building relationships with external suppliers
? Managing budgets
? Managing people
? Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences.
? Chinese and English skills are required; verbal and written
? Organisational skills
