MISSION STATEMENT:

Prepare for the business expansion of Theory Outlet, proceed buying from global point of view.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Buying

Prepare for the business expansion of Theory (as well as to improve Theory brand image),to execute plans for seasonal buying and OTB in order to meet the company's business objectives;

Fimiliar and understand the brand concept of the brand, maintain / improve brand image as well as to make sure that the team havs correct understandings

To conduct market research for updating fashion trend;

2. Merchandising

Seasonal Forecast

Goods selection and merchandise mix in the biweekly allocation

Weekly Transfer of goods (small replenishment & big replenishment)

Proactively monitor and maximize the sale of regional stores, while taking into consideration overall country’s product performance

3.Commercial Follow-up

Seasonal / Monthly / Weekly sales & budget setting management/analysis, direct relevant team with concrete action plan

To monitor inventory and sales performance;

Prepare past year season analytical reports to assist buying per store

4. Communications

Act as main contact person between respective stores, management in order to problem-solve ranging from product, promotions, targets, design, maintenance, training, VMD and products etc.

Daily monitoring of stores’ sales and product specific movements to better understand the market, store and product performance.

Liaise and work with key internal & external partners to ensure the smooth management

To work closely with Retail Operations Dept. in development and execution of merchandise assortment for buying plans to maximum the sales performance.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

At least 5 years' mechandising experience in fashion retail industry in a managerial position

University degree holder

Strong analytical and presentation skills

Excellent comminucation and interpersonal skills

Computer literacy (inc. windows, word processing, powerpoint…)

Fluent in Mandarin and English, other languages or dialects a plus
