OVERVIEW:


The key responsibility of this China based position of IT support, is to support Evatec China even Asia IT users' networking environment security and provide services (server, network and desktop). He/She will be a communication bridge between users, vendor and headquarter IT for some decision making.


Responsibilities:


  • Hands-on position to support and manage computer systems for Evatac China offices which includes computers, network, storage and some of application systems (VM, Team viewer, Webex, BPS...).
  • Following Evatac IT policy and procedures to work closely with IT members in headquarter and provide on-site users best support with priority, and take care of some other motorized tasks.
  • Ensure security of data, servers, network access, and backup systems.
  • Ensure the operation of personal PCs, network, firewall,and backup systems.
  • Implement and maintain IT disaster recovery for local PC.
  • Provide back-up and redundancy of critical hardware and network systems.
  • Install hardware and appropriate software packages on users’ terminal per approved requests.
  • learn site user requirement and voice, conduct appropriate communication within IT to get the aligned solution and feedback to meet site user needs
  • Under the Evatec IT global standard and guideline to explore and implement cost effective hardware and software solutions to support the needs of the users
  • Assists in the IT system local deployment, and provide appropriate communication and required training the first thing to the site users for any IT changes and deployment at local roll out


Requirements & Capabilities:


  • College degree in computer science or related major

  • Technical skills and related experience over 2 years are required, knowledge on application / ERP is plus

  • Ability to understand business objectives and to judge on level of business disturbance caused by incident

  • Knowledge about Incident & Problem Management Process, certification of ITIL is plus.

  • Be patient and willing to work under stress

  • Strong customer and result orientation, used to take problem ownership

  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin

  • Good teamwork but also able to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated and self-directed

  • Strong spirit for intensive study in new knowledge and technology
