Archibat Asia is now looking for an Engineer for a global Furniture Design and Trading company in Foshan

Location: Foshan, Guangdong

Essential skills

• Solid knowledge on architectural/ modular structure, as well as furniture or relevant material;

• Familiar with timber/metal/stone engineering, as well as manufacturing process

• Very skilful in CAD 3D modelling, and PS, sketch up & AI

• Well understanding on project design/sketch, interior & dome/modular houses

• Pro-E/3D Max/Rhino is a plus

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities

• DESIGN CAD DRAWINGS: complete Dome/Modular House/all other projects drawings, including 3D view drawings/sampling drawings/product & material drawings/production drawings/technic drawings etc, per request from team leader/ linen manager

• SAMPLING/PRODUCTION FOLLOW UP: ensure all sampling are followed properly during the whole process, including details/online check; report when problems happen and discuss solution with Superior, communicating with relevant suppliers and ensure completion is within deadline;

• QUALITY ASSURANCE: inspect bespoke products/material as per SOP;

• COMMUNICATION & COORDINATION: effectively communicate with workshop and positively response/email to ensure each parties understanding on our requirements; esp on technical issue during Dome & other architectural structure

• PROJECT DOCUMENTATION: document drawings/pics/processing progress etc and ensure its easily to access on shared folder;

Secondary Responsibilities

• SITE SUPPORT: support on site during project execution period, ensure that all are built per required standard. Ensure contractors are followed our guideline and able to help project completion on time;

• SHIPMENT SUPPORT: assist on providing relevant doc/data for coordinator arranging shipments;

• GUIDING JUNIOR CAD DESIGNERS

• TRAINING SUPPORT (material preparation/train less engineer role/junior engineer role on structure/dome knowledge

• OTHERS: other assignment from team leader/ linen manager
