Main responsibilities

• Own product quality and reliability process.
• Early involve product validation by reliability test during NPI phase.
• Create reliability test plan against program schedule and product quality requirements.
• Create and optimize product ORT plan and ensure effective implementation in EMS factory, especially for IP phone, and Server & Video products.
• Create reliability test plan and implement test items for deviation and Engineering Change.
• Own “hands on” reliability testing initiatives including HALT, HASS/HASA, DMT/MTBF, Drop, ESS, etc.
• Report test results to program with deep analysis and drive problem closure.
• Support customer quality DOA/RMA failure analysis.

Key skills and abilities

• Be technical expert in quality and reliability engineering including rich experience in environmental acceleration techniques and application of its methodologies.
• Be familiar with proactive quality principles including design verification testing, 4 corners testing and Highly Accelerated Life testing-HALT, Highly Accelerated Stress Screening-HASS, Design Maturity Test-DMT, MTBF, Drop test and so on.
• Must have experience using liquid nitrogen chambers in a safe and productive way.
• Have problem solving capability - data driven and results orientated.
• Know hands on quality and reliability and continuous improvement methods.
• Having the ability of product diagnostic in electrical area is a must.
• Be with demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision.
• Work effectively as a good team player, not only in function team also in project team.
• Open minded and quick learner.
• Can handle multi- task under pressure.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Good English both verbal and written.
• Strong skills on MS product suite - Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

Qualifications

• BS in technical field (Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc…).
• More than 5 years’ experience in electrical product reliability engineering and quality.
• Major is Reliability Engineering is a plus.
