Job Title: Network Engineer

Overview

we are looking for an intelligent, seasoned IT infrastructure engineer to join our team. A successful engineer at Dimensiondata will be able to truly understand the IT environment, assess, design, and implement IT infrastructure solutions, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years IT infrastructure work experience include network/ system/ security
• Proven success installing and maintaining IT infrastructure
• Excellent people skills, communication skills and self-management skills
• Experience and desire to work in a team environment with other engineers
• Honesty, integrity and a genuine desire to help
• Ability to focus, manage your time and your work, and get things done quickly, efficiently, and completely
• Track record of continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or experience in a related technical discipline
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Ability to configure, install, troubleshoot and maintain network equipment including Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers and access points, firewalls
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to narrow down the cause of an issue and determine a solution
• Experience with Microsoft AD, DHCP, DNS
• Experience with a variety of VPN
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, WLAN
• Knowledge of Cisco unified wireless solution
• Cisco/ Microsoft Certifications preferred
• Experience of system Integration Company is preferred

Position Responsibilities

• Install and maintain infrastructure solutions
• Provide break-fix support to clients when experience issues
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to determine root cause and to implement appropriate solution to resolve network/server issues
• Assist other technicians as needed

Documentation of work performed as well as providing customer network documentation

• Ensure excellent customer service
• Maintain and achieve certifications as requested
• Meet deadlines and customer expectations
• On Call responsibilities on a rotating basis
• Evening and weekend work on occasion
• Onsite requirement in China
