Position: Front End Developer and Digital Designer, Communications and Marketing Office

Communications and Marketing Office at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) supports and enhances the University's profile and reputation by managing a range of activities to attract high-quality students, staff and funding for the University. We are seeking a highly creative and technically adept individual with demonstrable experience in digital and user interface (UI) design.

The Front End Developer and Digital Designer will produce creative, high quality content and artwork to showcase life and opportunity at UNNC and will assist in the development and implementation of the design for the University's digital presence within the University's corporate identity and digital design framework. Under the direction of the Web Manager and Content Manager, the post holder will work closely with colleagues in Communications and Marketing to produce artwork for their digital channels and advise them on design issues.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in a design or technical field with demonstrable experience of working in a digital design service. Proven excellent design skills and proven skills in HTML and SCSS, JQuery, JavaScript are required. Candidates should also be competent with the Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software. Under the direction of the Web Manager and Content Manager the post holder will work closely with colleagues in External Relations to produce artwork for their digital channels and advise them on design issues.

Salary will be within the range of RMB144,679 to RMB205,433 per annum before deduction depending on skills and experience (salary progression beyond this is subject to performance). The post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract with University of Nottingham Ningbo China for a period of 1 year.
