The Application Engineer's tasks and responsibilities are supporting the whole sales process in order to increase the satisfaction of the customers. Dependent on how/if the job tasks are split, they include, but are not limited to:

Main Responsibility

1) Technical Support

o Answering technical customer requirements on the phone and email; offering application support to customers; Setup uniform documentation of customers Q&A.

o 通过电话和电子邮件回答客户的技术问题；并向客户提供应用支持；建立统一的Q&A文件。

o Instrument demonstration sample testing, writing testing report and recording for customer.

o 仪器演示样品测试，并为客户编写应用测试报告。

o Customer trainings (End-user, in-house and on-site training) for the assigned product lines.

o 对指定产品线的客户培训（最终用户、公司实验室和客户现场培训）。

o Technical support to the sales and service engineers.

o 为销售和服务工程师提供技术支持。

o Conducting installations on customer site once necessary.

o 必要时为客户提供现场安装服务。

2) CRM Management

o Creating support tickets for each customer visit case and summarize the outcome in the notes.

o 为每个客户访问案例创建Support Tickets，并在CRM中总结结果。

o Creating Demo/Meeting/Phone calls and enters all relevant information in the notes.

o 创建样机/会议/电话，并在CRM中输入所有相关信息。

o Outgoing emails are sent out of CRM and incoming emails are transferred to CRM.

o 通过CRM系统收发邮件。

3) Marketing Support

o Supporting for the marketing activities; and preparing the documentation of marketing including translation and proofreading, etc…

o 支持营销活动，并准备市场资料（翻译、校对等）

o Collecting market/customers/competitors info; finding new prospecting customers for sales to ensure further growth.

o 收集市场/客户/竞争对手信息；寻找新的潜在客户进行销售，以确保进一步增长。

4) Lab and DEMO Management

o Responsible for the lab environment, especially for the assigned product lines.

o 实验室管理，尤其是指定的产品线。

o Maintaining and supervising the demo database for the assigned region incl. inventory for the demo stock (entering of instruments into the database, creation of loans, shipment, checking, scrapping and etc…).

o 维护和管理指定区域的样机数据库，包括清点样机和样品的库存（将仪器输入数据库、创建样机外借申请、寄送、检查、报废等）。

o Documentation: monthly report on Demo, sample testing, installation and re-training.

o 文件：样机管理、样品测试、安装和再培训的月度报告。

o Setup the SOP documents for operation and maintaining lab instruments.

o 负责演示实验室，尤其是指定的产品线。建立操作和维护实验室仪器的SOP文件

5) Others

o Performs other duties as assigned.

o 履行分配的其他职责。

Minimum required education, experience, knowledge and skills

• Master degree required in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material, Polymer, Food, or physics or related field
• 硕士以上学历；化学、化工、材料、高分子、食品、物理等相关专业。
• Good knowledge in the instrument equipment of SAXS, XRD, Particle Size Analyser and Zeta Potential Analysis for Solid Surface.
• 对小角散射、X射线衍射、粒度仪和Surpass等仪器设备有一定的了解。
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• 良好的口头/书面沟通和人际交往能力
• To be able to work independently and under pressure; business trip frequently.
• 有独立工作的能力和一定的抗压性；能适应经常出差的工作。
• Good written and reading English communication skills are essential.
• 熟练的英文读写能力
• Team player
• 有团队合作精神
