We are “AI Platform” team in Microsoft Cloud and AI division. We empower our customers with tools and services so they can envision and build machine learning models easily, manage model lifecycle, build amazing new experiences and transform their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy – Drive definition of the problem space, solutions and product strategy. Drive for clarity and alignment using written narratives for a) defining the problem and solutions using customer evidence, b) guiding product strategy with market feedback, and c) informing the direction using business metrics. Define all aspects to future roadmap and investments.
  • Execution – Drive product development towards meeting customer objectives and requirements, ensuring implementation is aligned with product goals. Demonstrate good judgement and earn trust by helping the engineering team make tradeoffs based on customer requirements.
  • Launch Plans - Define go-to-market plan defining product launches, optimizing around Microsoft events to tell our story. Own and drive marketing tactics for launch like blogs, webinars and presentations at conferences.
  • Operational leadership – Own the customer feedback and satisfaction, continuous improvement and business growth.
  • Mentor product/program managers.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience, 5+ years in a product management or engineering position.
  • Experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for cloud-based services.
  • Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts.
  • Intense curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on communicating technical requirements and solutions to internal and external audiences.
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
