We use 1300 tools to build Windows and run 3.6 million test cases on nearly 200K virtual machines every day. And we operate highly scalable work management and code flow system. Our team in ES is called Codebase Excellence, and our mission is to ensure that our codebase is healthy, well structured, and using the best tools and processes to ensure the productivity of the org. We are in search of a Program Manager who can understand this challenging but exciting domain to improve the overall security and health of our codebase while delighting developers.

Responsibilities
Establish a shared vision within the team and with partners by building consensus on business priorities leading to product execution
Drive refactoring of the codebase to build various parts of Windows effectively
Build Strategy and drive Execution to develop and deploy Windows components in a secure fashion.
Improve efficiency in a continually evolving environment
Modernize the overall Developer's experience and improve their productivity
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of program or product management experience in the software or services development industry
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
Preferred:
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
Experience in building cohesive and loosely coupled solutions
Self-starting and hungry to learn
Organizational and analytical skills
Proven track record of establishing and maintaining cross-team relationships and collaboration
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
