You will be responsible to support the sales team in marketing and sales activities for the Global PG Business and represent the interests of the Global PG Business in Indonesia. Develop profitable and sustainable sales for the complete Power Grids Unit portfolio in Indonesia. Implement the Power grids strategies, in conjunction with Global PGGI, PGGA, PGHV & PGTR Business Unit.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the demand market and demand side budget for Power Grid Business including third party sales, internal sales, and channels in allocated geography. Managing Power Grids Business demand-side budget of Indonesia.
- Ensure proper coverage in the market covering Utilities, Industries and Infrastructure & Transport segment. Develop the “White Spot” market for PGGI in Indonesia.
- Developing business strategies and sales and marketing plans in partnership with local Marketing and Sales teams. Participating in the budgeting process, including preparing the Market Information, representing the Global PGGI BUs.
- Coordinating lifecycle marketing and ensures effective execution in the local market. Coordinates and supports the factories’/supplying units’ sales and marketing activities.
- Overseeing the market intelligence process ensuring detailed market analyses of market drivers and trends, key competition, and emerging technologies. Produces monthly and ad-hoc reports to monitor market and progress.
- Ensuring local sales teams are provided with necessary training and receive appropriate accreditation. Works together with Global Sales Marketing, Hub Sales & Marketing and Marketing Communication for planning and implementation of marketing activities.
- Ensures proposals are developed and approved to enable negotiations. Oversees quotations to promote optimal outcome. Ensures all status updates and documentation are accurately tracked in appropriate systems.
- Organizes and promotes after sales service activities. Ensures appropriate order handling of products/systems/services. Ensures contracts are appropriately managed with adherence to payment terms.
- Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration

Your background
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering. MBA in Sales & Marketing.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Utility/Power business with exposure to either turnkey substations or high voltage products or system integration for substations (EPCs / Service Providers).
- Exposure and detailed knowledge of substation & automation and practices of PLN for substations.
- Proficient with MS Office and should have demonstrated Negotiation skills.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
