Your responsibilities

• Perform touch-ups, following the soldering standards in place.
• Detect any solder or parts positioning non-conformances, as well as orientation and polarity of components.
• Interpret an assembly drawing.

Your background

• 2-4 years of experience in PCB soldering.
• High school diploma.
• Studies in electronics, an asset.
• Know and apply welding techniques.
• Knowledge of the materials and products used and ability to select them according to the process.
• Knowledge of the acceptability criteria of IPC-A-610 standards, and ability to search for relevant information in the reference book.
• Basic knowledge of electrostatic discharge (ESD).
• Ability to read and interpret a technical drawing, and the ability to read serigraphy on PCB.
• Ability to select adequate tools and material for a given task.
• Ability to use and ensure maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of procedures and inspection techniques.
• Ability to maintain the workflow according to the established objectives.
• Autonomy and flexibility.
• French and/or English, written and spoken.
