ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.

You will be the Project Engineer for diverse engineering projects in Electrification Business in Thailand. Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with relevant quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

• Define all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
• Effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization.
• Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.
• Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project.
• Ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.
• Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
• Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
• Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, integrity and environmental policies.

Your background

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• More than 3 years of experience in Project Management.
• Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
