ABB is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for Cleveland, OH location.

Your responsibilities

  • Input and track systems project orders, change notices and cancellations for IAPI Systems business.
  • Back-up for other order entry personnel as needed.
  • Review customer orders / contracts to ensure they meet internal controls and external regulations and are set up for proper revenue and cost recognition.
  • Identify performance obligations and ensure they are in compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Execute pertinent Sarbanes-Oxley controls to ensure the group is in compliance.
  • Propose and introduce improvements to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction and the group's effectiveness.
  • Reconcile orders on a monthly basis.
  • Perform invoicing in compliance with contractual terms and customer specifications.
  • Under limited supervision, exercise discretion and judgment to perform duties that may involve moderately complex problems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders in SAP to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Generate, interpret and distribute various assigned reports.
  • Assist Controllers with special projects as needed.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.

Your background

  • High School diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience or
  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization with a diverse team.
  • Energetic and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • SharePoint experience is desirable.
