ABB is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for Cleveland, OH location.
Your responsibilities
- Input and track systems project orders, change notices and cancellations for IAPI Systems business.
- Back-up for other order entry personnel as needed.
- Review customer orders / contracts to ensure they meet internal controls and external regulations and are set up for proper revenue and cost recognition.
- Identify performance obligations and ensure they are in compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
- Execute pertinent Sarbanes-Oxley controls to ensure the group is in compliance.
- Propose and introduce improvements to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction and the group's effectiveness.
- Reconcile orders on a monthly basis.
- Perform invoicing in compliance with contractual terms and customer specifications.
- Under limited supervision, exercise discretion and judgment to perform duties that may involve moderately complex problems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders in SAP to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Generate, interpret and distribute various assigned reports.
- Assist Controllers with special projects as needed.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
Your background
- High School diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience or
- Associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work in a matrix organization with a diverse team.
- Energetic and self-motivated.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- SharePoint experience is desirable.
