For our Industrial Automation Division (Business Line Measurement & Analytics) located in Sesto San Giovanni (MI), we are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist who will be able to develop the company’s plans and to implement the sales strategy.

Your responsibilities

• In this position you will:
• - Sell products, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Unit;
• - Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product offering, and align to provide a solution;
• - Prepare sales plans using company tools and perform regular status reviews;
• - Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contract and proposal by using effective sales techniques; communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions);
• - Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers;
• - Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure know-how sharing
• and cross-collaboration;
• - Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, and support collection and project management activities when needed;
• - Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager;

Your background

• For this position is requested:
• - Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Engineering
• - 3-5 years experience in Sales, Project Management or Bid and Proposal or similar role (preferably in the Metals or Paper field);
• - Fluency in English and Italian;
• - Adaptability to a dynamic and continuously moving environment;
• - Availabilty to do several business trips;
• - Customer oriented and able to create networking.
