We are looking for a Tender and Quotation Specialist to join our Power Grids division in Business Unit Grid Integration located in Sesto San Giovanni.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare the offers and relevant technical documentation for Electrical Substations’
• Support the Sales organization in creating value for the Customer, by the integration of ABB’s products and services for Substations into technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare/support preparation of technical/commercial offers based on Customer specification requirements, ABB Feeder Factories products and solutions, and Sales organization directives, and participate in the kick off meeting organized by the project team
• Provide information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and, i participate and drive the risk review assessment.
• Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization.
• Build up solutions, by the integration of products and systems into value based proposals
• When needed, visit Customers together with the Sales Team.

Your background

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in sales back office activities of Bid & Proposal and tendering of electrical power systems and/or products (especially MV and HV) and relevant services
• High flexibility
• Communication skills, ease in human relations
• Strong team working behavior, proactivity and self initiative
• High organizational skills and precision into day by day activities will be highly appreciated.
• Fluent in English and Italian language, both written and spoken
• EU Work visa permit required.
