For our Energy Industries Business Unit, within the Industrial Automation Division, we are looking for a MOM Sales Specialist, based in Genoa or alternatively in Sesto San Giovanni (MI). He/she will be responsible for sales of MES/MOM systems within a designated market in accordance with Company strategy.

Your responsibilities

The MOM Sales Specialist:

- Sells solutions to customers, focusing on booking, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Line according to ABB Code of Conduct
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full systems offering, and align to provide a solution
- Prepares sales plans using company tools
- Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
- Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated mar-ket and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
- Prepares commercial bids aspects in coordination with the bid and proposal department

Your background

For this role we require:

- Automation, Electric, Electronic and/or Information Technologies engineering re-lated education or the equivalent
- Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) sales or sales support experience
- Basic technical background in production equipment and technologies
- Good knowledge of data analytics, visualization and reporting technologies
- Fluency in Italian and English, spoken and written
- Travel availability
- Ability to identify customer’s pains and needs; ability to leverage on them to enhance ABB so-lution advantages
- Focus on targets also under stress
