The IAPCP Product Marketing team is a global team responsible for the refinement and promotion of market and value proposition messages for successful selling of the entire Process Control Platform (PCP) product portfolio - from definition of product differentiators to content development, demo specifications and product sales workshops and webinars. Along with marketing communications team, the team drives the external and internal sales release launch of PCP products including automation systems, services and digital offerings.

ABB is seeking a College Intern - Sep 2020 start (Undergraduate-Bachelors in English or Business -Product Marketing) for its Cleveland, Ohio location.

Your responsibilities

  • Define / articulate value propositions and product differentiators.
  • Develop & maintain product marketing collateral content (brochures, presentations, catalogs, demo scripts, sales tools, videos, etc.).
  • Develop / execute product marketing launch plans (ie. social media campaigns, product training webinars, etc.).
  • Create competition battle cards and sales tips selling documents.

Your background

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Engineering or Business degree program in the US (Engineering: preferably Electrical, Chemical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science; Business: preferably Marketing or International Business).
  • 3.0 minimum GPA.
  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.
  • Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (specifically, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), Adobe Creative Suite and SharePoint.
  • Strategic approach to problem solving, ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
