For the Robotics Customer Service organization in Sesto San Giovanni (Milano) we are looking for a Field Service Engineer.

Your responsibilities

• Restore the functionality of the robot
• Deal with electrical, mechanical and software problems
• Fill out a detailed service report
• Inform the Field Service Coordinator and the Sales Engineer on possible technical improvements seen/discussed with the customer on-site
• Provide technical support via emails/phone from the office
• Use the company’s IT tools to record support and service activities
• Comply with the company’s Safety and Integrity procedures and standards

Your background

• A technical diploma / degree in a technical field, preferably in mechanics, electric/electronics, information technology
• Knowledge of the robotized arc welding process, power sources is a clear advantage
• Previous experience in commissioning / servicing robotics product, automation or industrial machineries is very welcome
• Good knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel
• Basic knowledge of PLC, as a minimum
• Strong analysis skills and the right attitude for problem solving
• The ability to manage alone the repair visit on-site
• Easiness to manage the relation with the customer
• The willingness to travel extensively (by car, mainly in Italy)
• A discrete confidence with the English language
