ABB is seeking a LEAD Summer Internship Program undergrad - Proposal Engineer for its Cleveland, Ohio location. The position consists of the preparation of proposals for domestic and/or international customers in the Power and Water market for Controls System packages and solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Technical Resource on assigned Proposals.
• Develop System Overview Drawings, Equipment Lists, System Descriptions, etc.
• Respond on Customer Data Sheets & Questionnaires.
• Support Marketing & Sales.
• Some travel may be required.

Your background

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s engineering degree program in the US.
• Power Plant/Process Control Experience is a plus.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, specifically, Word, Excel & Visio.
• Familiarization with DCS/PLC and Networks is preferred.
• Strategic approach to problem solving, ability to analyze complex issues.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong customer service focus when supporting clients on proposal issues.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US.
