ABB Robotics is setting up a pioneering team to accelerate the development of new business in Digital.

The mission: Solve manufacturing challenges of leading industrial companies by developing and deploying Analytics heavy SW solutions around Robotics.

We are in start-up mode and looking for individuals with strong sense of ownership and drive, coupled with several years of experience in QA Automation development in an industrial context.

Your responsibilities

• - Automation:
• Set up and maintain automation frameworks for multiplatform: Web, Mobile and Native Applications (Windows and Linux)
• Write automation test scripts and assist other developers with their code coverage (developers are also expected to write their own tests)
• Develop test plans
• Report defects to developers, produce tracking tickets
• Produce weekly performance reports (from monitoring tools)
• Support backend testing
• Develop and execute comprehensive test suites using test management tools to consistently ensure high-quality releases
• Work daily with development team to identify testing needs
• Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies to track quality assurance metrics
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Must know following tools, libraries and technologies: Selenium, Appium, AWS(Instance Creation and related fundamentals), Firebase, Fiddler, Firebug, Wireshark, RESTful APIs, LDAP, ADFS, OpenID, Azure DevOps
• Two or more years of experience using testing tools such as Junit, MSTest, Mocha, Jasmine, Cucumber, Selenium Webdriver, Espresso, XCTest, RSPec
• Undergraduate or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. science, engineering, mathematics) or equivalent experience
• Be a vocal champion for quality in every phase of the software development process
• - Manual Testing:
• Perform cross-platform functionality testing with Web, Mobile and Native platforms (Windows and Linux)
• Prerelease smoke testing prior to handover to Product Manager
• Routine testing to monitor for defects
• Manual testing for any major feature release or fix version
• Produce screenshots, videos and steps to produce
• Produce defect tickets in Azure Devops (VSTS)

Your background

• More than 4 years of experience in QA Automation experience
• Demonstrate experience writing code coverage and functional tests in JS
• More than 2 years of experience developing with: NodeJs, Java, HTML,CSS,Javascript, Vue / Angular
• Experience in working in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery workflow
• Experience in working with Azure Services and Tools
• Experience in Linux OS and Hardware testing
• Nice to have: experience in IOT deployments
• Ability to work in English
