The HSE Manager is responsible for implementation and supervision of ELIS HSE programs for field services operations.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide HSE Leadership to the ELIS US Field Services’ organization with a focus on the West region.
  • Evaluate HSE risks and challenges for new projects and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies;
  • Develop and review completed site-specific safety plans with project management and customers;
  • Assist in selection and training of job sites based personnel;
  • Manage any HSE issues that may arise during activities at customer sites and partners;
  • Perform frequent HSE audits;
  • Assist in develop and update HSE programs and procedures ensuring compliance with all local regulations and ABB requirements;
  • Coordinate and provide training for ELIS Regional Field Services employees;
  • Manage environmental impacts of operations;
  • Investigate safety/environmental incidents conducting root cause analysis and driving
  • implementation of corrective actions;
  • Liaise with government agencies on HSE issues;
  • Keep close contacts with HSE HQ.

Your background

  • Degree in HSE, engineering or other HSE related field;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience including operations at customers job sites;
  • Knowledge of local HSE regulations and of most widely used international standards;
  • Fluent English, written and verbal.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to ~40 % working time within the US
  • Degree in HSE, engineering or other HSE -related field;

  • Knowledge of local HSE regulations and of most widely used international standards;
  • Fluent English, written and verbal.

  • Prior experience operationalizing safety, health and compliance programs

  • Know ledge of HSE requirements and compliance implementation experience
  • Proficient know ledge of regional regulatory framework
  • Know ledge (experience) of HSE Management systems
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.
