The Finance Controlling & Planning CoE has the responsibility, working closely with the division and country organizations to: # Drive Controlling & Planning standardization.

You will play a key role in financial controlling within the Industrial Automation. Reporting to the C&P Team Leader, you will provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts in order to support business leaders and stakeholders in decision making.

Your responsibilities

• Performing analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast and benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers
• Working with other financial professionals in Divisions / Regions / Countries and functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends
• Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting and validate accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
• Collaborating with key members of the business to identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions and cost saving initiatives to protect and increase profitability.
• Supporting initiatives to achieve excellence in financial controlling and improvement of controlling processes and tools.
• Facilitating knowledge and best practice sharing within the Finance community.
• Organizing and delivering training on various controlling tools and processes.

Your background

• A Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• More than 8 years of experience in Controlling or FP&A with Project experience beneficial.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, notably SAP.
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of end-to-end process, systems and data flows across organization at business and finance-side and proficiency in IT systems: ERP, Planning & Reporting tools and integrated solutions.
• Good command of German and English
