The Inside Sales Representative will be part of the Motors & Mechanical Operations Team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This position is responsible to provide internal and external customer support (e.g. technical, order assistance, payment-related assistance). Manage customer accounts including orders, quotes, and expedites from order intake to delivery.

Your responsibilities
- Supports the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
- Provides technical support during technical meetings and/or product presentations.
- Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives.
- Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Customer & Sales organization.
- Analyses customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the sales organization.
- Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Track promised customer ship dates.
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails.

Your background
- Post-secondary education in a related area plus relevant training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sales and a solid technical background with mechanical products (ie.: bearings, gearing, industrial power transmission product).
- Superior ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities, adapt to new ideas & constant changes and deliver successful results.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- SAP knowledge and Logistics are considered an asset.
