Your responsibilities

• As Electrical and Commissioning Engineer you will be involved in electrical design phase of EMS system delivery projects to customers in aluminum and steel industries around the world. You will also be responsible for commissioning of the delivered systems at customers’ site. The position will be based in Ostrava, Czech Republic and include extensive global travelling.
• Supervises the installation so that it is performed in a technically correct manner.
• Ensure the equipment are installed according to our and our suppliers’ latest drawings.
• System start-up and Site Acceptance Test activities.
• Act as ABB representative at site and maintain communication with customer and project manager.
• Daily monitoring of site progress and sending the reports to the project manager.
• Prepare as built documentation.
• Handover the system to customers with proper documentation.
• Follow and conform to the HSE plan.

Your background

• Degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical or Automation & Control Engineering
• Experience in commissioning electrical systems on site
• Knowledge of programing different PLC systems
• Experience of electrical design (LV)
• Experience of working with electrical CAD tools
• Advanced English Level
• Availability to travel extensively
• It’s meriting if you have:
• Experience of working in Steel industry, Aluminum industry or similar process industries
• Experience of working with ABB PLC systems and/or Variable Frequency Drives
