In our LEAD Early Career Programs for new college graduates, you can specialize in engineering, operations, commercial sales, business, research and development, or supply chain management. These programs are rotational in nature—you will spend 6-8 months in each placement before rolling off into a full-time role. Regional flexibility is a must as programs may take you anywhere in our US footprint.
Each LEAD Early Career Program will include the following foundational elements:
- On-the-job intensive training
- Multiple in-person immersions, focused on learning & development, networking and executive interactions
- One-on-one career & leadership coaching
- Peer mentoring
Your responsibilities
- Specific job responsibilities will vary among program and rotation placement, but all LEAD participants should expect to:
- Learn about the relevant business or product line.
- Complete meaningful projects.
- Engage with supervisors and mentors to develop your skills.
- Participate in regular professional development opportunities including webinars and in-person immersions.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.
Your background
- Willing to relocate for rotations in the ABB US footprint – relocation assistance is provided.
- Desire to learn and grow from a diverse set of experiences and people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude, professionalism, and desire to collaborate with others.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and graduating by June 2020.
- Preferred 3.0 GPA minimum.
- At the time of accepting a verbal offer, candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to begin work full time for ABB in the United States, on the agreed upon start date.
