Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Chef De Cuisine for Black Sheep Restaurants is responsible for overseeing the kitchen in “Osteria Marzia" at Black Sheep Restaurants. This person will work directly under the Group Chef and owners and rotate between outlets as needed. He/she should have prior experience in a Chef de Cuisine role, knowledge and experience with various types of global cuisines (especially Italian) and techniques and a firm understand of the International market.

Specific responsibilities include: maintaining high quality and consistency for all food, menu and recipe development, staff hiring and training.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of cooking experience with over 5 years’ experience in a management role (Head Chef or Sous Chef)
  • Experience working as a Head chef or Executive chef in World Renowned Restaurants
  • Previous experience opening new restaurant concepts
  • Experience working in international cities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Superior English written and oral communications skills
  • Professional qualification in Hospitality or Food and Beverage
  • Experience in Staff Training and menu creating

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • Menu development: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Kitchen staff management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Chef: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Kitchen: 5 years (Preferred)
