Job Description

The Restaurant Manager at Rajasthan Rifles is responsible for overseeing the flow of service, and catering to the individual needs of restaurant guests. This team member supports the Operations Manager, specific responsibilities include, but not limited to: troubleshooting service issues, training/hiring staff, creating and maintaining work checklists, interacting with guests to create the desired environment, event management, working with the marketing team on promotions, writing the nightly-report.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of experience within the hospitality industry
  • 8+ years experience working within a managerial role
  • First hand experience working in a restaurants of Indian cuisine
  • Experience working in hotels and hotel service
  • Working experience in India, to understand the culture and food
  • Track record of excellent revenue management to increase profit magins and ensure budgets are met
  • Superior English written and oral communications skills
  • Previous experience managing large teams, recruiting, training, developing and motivating individuals
  • Focus on guest expeience resulting in gust satisfaction and repeat custom
  • Excellent stock management skills
  • Expert knowledge in wine and wine training
  • Experience managing large banquets, catering and events
  • Clear career progression demonstrated in CV
  • Higher education in Hospitality related subject
