Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Service operations

• Single point of contact responsible for service delivery of Datahub applications in multiple regions across the globe
• Manage Incident, Service Request from different regions and related communication
• Support Application Manager (AM) on RCA and Problem management
• Assist in requirement analysis, effort estimation and solution/technical design for enhancements
• Advanced troubleshooting, break-fix for issues spanning all Datahub related integrations
• Work with regional application managers (RAM) and commercial service managers (OSM/SDM) to understand market perceptions and deliver service
• Maintain Service levels - deliver service as per KPI to different markets
• People management, work with and manage a team of professionals supporting datahub applications, align the goals and evaluate against achievement. Groom the junior technical members
• Support OSM/SDM on resource Due Diligence and estimations for the new scope of support
• Support OSM/SDM on Service Capacity planning
• Work with Application Manager (AM), Project Managers and Centre of Excellence(COE) service assurance to take on new or additional services to the production environment
• Manage service Change requests (CR) and Post-deployment Activities(PDA)
• Develop and practice Service/Change Catalogue between COE and Service team
• Manage changes to the production environment as appropriate e.g. Patch management
• Liaison with Application Manager (AM) to plan and execute Continuous Service Improvements
• Service KPI Performance reporting
• Monitoring applications, systems & interfaces
• Work with internal IT and Shared support to ensure adequate infrastructure is available for service support

Required skills and experience

• Experience of working in Sales & Marketing Portfolio preferably in the Life Sciences Industry.
• Good functional understanding and hands-on experience (5-6 years) on Snaplogic & Redshift
• 3-4 years of techno-functional working experience in AstraZeneca Commercial IT Datahub systems
• In-depth knowledge of AstraZeneca and Commercial IT ITSM and AD processes
• Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications.
• Exposure is essential to all the downstream in commercial/non-commercial systems using datahub
• Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.
• Ability to work in large and diverse teams and leading a team.
• Understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.
• Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Well versed in English
• A proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience working in a global problem-solving distributed team

Desirable

• Knowledge/Certification on Snaplogic, AWS, MicroStrategy, Informatica
• Experience in Databases and ETL technologies
• ITIL certification, Lean / Six Sigma certification
