Based in the designated territory, the successful applicant will join an international and dynamic team dedicated to developing NATIVE UNION.
About the ROLE
This position overseas the full scope of logistics operations, including B2B and B2C orders fulfillment, warehouse operations management with our 3rd parties 3PL, overall carrier’s management and the comprehensive reverse logistics management. This is a rare and exceptional new opportunity for a dynamic supply chain and logistics professional to play a leading role in shaping the future of Native Union.
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Logistics Manager.
Main responsibilities
Process and shipping Compliance
- Audit existing clients' shipping compliance requirements
- Set up Native Union logistics and routing guidelines in order to streamline and standardize existing compliance requirements
- Ensure validation and control proper new clients on boarding on every shipping and order preparation
- Monitor proactively regulations changes and update internally and externally
- Review and improve processes to drive efficiency with 3PL. Identify and drive key operational and cost saving improvement opportunities
Orders fulfillment (offline and eCommerce)
- Manages the order fulfillment process including order entry, administration, and shipping (including order processing, compliance, shipping status, delivery and customer service)
- Oversees the order tracking process and ensures orders are processed in accordance with the Company customer service standards.
- Set up internal and external reporting for fulfillment activity
- Drive implementation on of e-commerce fulfillment platform and processes in Hong Kong
- Coordinate with warehouse for order fulfillment activities and track delivery of goods
- Review fulfillment issues with clients and propose continuous operational actions
3PL and warehouse Management
- Lead and Manage all aspects of 3PL business operations to include account relationship building and team communications with the operations team for successful implementation of 3PL business practices.
- Direct operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization. Responsible for the budgets of the operations projects managed.
- Oversee 3PL account management with existing clients and develop/support new client initiation process
- Conduct regular review of performance and pricing with 3PL warehouse to review bills, invoices and any related documentation applicable.
- Manage and plan transportations and operations capacity to fully optimize the order fulfillment operations and to reach accurate delivery.
- Manage and ensure accuracy of all inventories by keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels and delivery schedules, including consumable inventory.
Requirements – Skills and abilities
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related background
- Possesses 5-8 years’ working hands-on experience in Logistics Operations function, with more than 2 years in managerial position either in international complex distribution, FMCG and/or retail environment
- Experience in 3PL Management, e-commerce fulfilment and complex logistics are a must
- Excellent management and leadership skills, problem solving and interpersonal skills and enjoys interacting with different levels of the organization
- Excellent command of English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
- Experience in consumer electronics industry or tech is a plus
