Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing policy;
- Negotiate price and terms with suppliers and contractors;
- Responsible for sourcing and monitor related materials and cost control / reduction;
- Monitor and manage suppliers’ performance for their delivery, quality, cost and services;
- Support in solving quality issue with suppliers’ management;
- Prepare regular monthly purchasing reports if necessary;
- Support PMC for inventory control and planning to meet production schedule;
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams & external suppliers, maintaining good relationship;
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments
Requirements
- Degree holder in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines;
- With 6 years relevant experience in electronics manufacturing sector;
- Detail-minded with very strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills;
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
- Station in Dongguan, PRC factory is required;
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer
