Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing policy;
  • Negotiate price and terms with suppliers and contractors;
  • Responsible for sourcing and monitor related materials and cost control / reduction;
  • Monitor and manage suppliers’ performance for their delivery, quality, cost and services;
  • Support in solving quality issue with suppliers’ management;
  • Prepare regular monthly purchasing reports if necessary;
  • Support PMC for inventory control and planning to meet production schedule;
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams & external suppliers, maintaining good relationship;
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines;
  • With 6 years relevant experience in electronics manufacturing sector;
  • Detail-minded with very strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Station in Dongguan, PRC factory is required;
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer
