Job description:

Depends on the final team being assigned, you may involve in:

• Develop a platform-independent software framework based on various SoC SDK which empowers next generation 4K HDR products
• Handling different media playback related features
• Enhancing system security and integrating different Digital Right Management solution
• Be exposed to state-of-the-art video streaming technologies (e.g. HEVC, VP9, MPEG-DASH, Apple HLS) and embedded system technologies (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ARM 64-bit)
• Integrate software and applications with other software partners (e.g. OTT apps, middleware, streaming protocols)
• Porting/enhancing/optimizing open/close-source browsers (e.g. Webkit, Chromium, Opera)
• Realize the latest IPTV/CableTV industry standard

On job-training will be provided.

Technical competencies, skills and experience:

• Proficient in C, C++ or JavaScript programming
• Knowledge in data structure, multi-threading and network programming
• Familiar with object oriented programming
• Experience in Linux system programming environment

Qualifications and memberships:
