Bentley is seeking candidates for a Full-Stack Web Developer position as part of a growing team within our Mobility division to implement and maintain applications for traffic data products impacting thousands of users around the world. The candidates should have experience in Web development from the client-side, to backend, as well as with database design and implementation. Ideally, candidates will have some experience with Cloud based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.  

 

Location: Tallahassee, Florida

 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain, as the primary developer, a new Web application for a data product
• Utilize Cloud technologies for serving, authenticating, monitoring, and scaling Web applications
• Monitor Application and system capacity and performance
• Work with team members to ensure security best practices are followed
• Automation of existing and new processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

 

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development with an emphasis on Full stack Web application development
• Solid foundation in programming fundamentals
• Modern client-side frameworks such as Angular, ReactJs, Vue
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with NoSQL data stores, such as MongoDB, Cassandra
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills with proven ability to present technical information

Desired Skills

• Experience with public clouds (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, Ruby on Rails, Express.js
