THE GIG (Summary of the Role)

With a keen interest in report delivery and the analysis of data, you will work closely with local and regional stakeholders to identify and understand requirements and opportunities to expand the capabilities of the Dr. Martens analytics solution for the APAC region.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART (Responsibilities)

• Provide data-driven insights to stakeholders across the business
• Work closely together with the central Data & Analytics team to help transform data into insightful reports and dashboards
• Interpret information requirements from business users and translating these into reporting solutions – using Power BI over the standardised data models, and by raising requests for new data warehouse/model development to the central team as required
• Understand a business requirement and being able to propose reporting solutions to best serve the requirement
• Be the first line of support for analytics to local users, logging any issues that cannot be resolved locally with the central team providing data model (Excel self-serve) and Power BI use training as required to ensure the Analytics solution and content is well understood and used appropriately
• As the local evangelist for analytics, drive the adoption and use of analytics and help foster a regional analytics super user community to increase the level of skill with Power BI across the business departments
• With regional autonomy for Power BI, be the regional expert and owner for this presentation layer tool, developing new reports and dashboards as required to support business needs
• Support the Dynamics D365 F&O project with data requirements, testing, training and support activities as required.

YOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES (Requirements)

• Degree in Information Technology / Business or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in converting business requirements into data model solutions and visualisation.
• You will draw on your highly numerate background and analytical experience to provide in-
• Strong commercial experience with Power BI report and dashboard development and data visualisation.
• Experience with bespoke Power BI dashboards focusing on usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent user facing and communication skills
• Ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Successful candidate will be deployed on 1-year contract basis,with the possibility of renewal or conversion subject to project life cycle and satisfactory performance.
