Bentley Systems is seeking a software engineer at it's Kolkata, India office. New colleague will work for the Tower team and will implement different structural design standards within it's OpenTower program.

Responsibilities:

• Write technical design specifications for tower analysis and design
• Work collaboratively with software developers to help them understand complex engineering calculations and processes. Develop algorithms to translate engineering knowledge to a software programmer.
• Gap Analysis with competitive software programs
• Providing expert-level engineering support, engineering services, and training to our users.
• Quality assurance through rigorous testing, calculations verification, benchmarking etc.
• Documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering is required and a master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred
• Experience in structural analysis
• Knowledge in foundation design and load calculations due to wind and seismic effects
• In-depth knowledge of different methods of structural analysis, including Static Analysis, P- Delta Analysis, Non-Linear Cable Analysis, etc.
