Job Description
The Senior Busness Development Manager will report to COO in the company. The main responsibility of the role will be developing market entry strategies and business plans in Southeast Asia, Europe and Middle East.
This role would be a sales leadership position, you will be motivating your team to optimize their performance. You will also be working closely with the Marketing and Product leaders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Job duties include:
- Conceive and develop a strategic business plan/initiative to achieve the company’s objective to penetrate into other cross-border markets
- Define, develop, manage and implement market and tactical business strategy for new cross-border markets for long term growth
- Identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities from other cross-border markets for the company, by analyzing relevant factors including market strategies, deal requirements, potential risks, and financials
- Set distribution goals, and implement and manage overall distribution operations of newly identified markets
- Overseeing and managing a special professional team to build good customer relationship with new clienteles from other cross-border markets
- Provide regular staff training to the professional team particularly on business knowledge, norms and market trends
- Lead in conducting market research on latest trend relating to medical robotic technology
- Report regularly to the management team on business performance and market development, e.g. presenting opportunities within the sales funnel, forecast accuracy and market trends etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years solid experience in sales and marketing in overseas market
- Solid track record in the medical or technology industry will be an advantage.
- Able to demonstrate your regional experience in developing new business channels/ customers from scratch
- Strong people and relationship management, and interpersonal skill
- Good Command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Fluent in Putonghua
- Well-organized and able to work under pressure
- Ability to achieve results while working independently
- Professional manner and be able to articulate different strategies to clients.
- Ability to cope with emerging industry and willingness to learn new ideas
