An external and internal facing role that provides medical and clinical expertise in priority therapeutic areas and builds AZ

scientific leadership. Medical Advisor would lead the specific TA medical team to develop the TA specific medical strategy and priorities, drive the implementation of key medical initiatives, co-design the KEE engagement strategy in order to gain medical insights and build up scientific partnerships, and generate evidence to address scientific/ medical data gaps.

In addition the Medical Advisor would work closely with cross-functional team to contribute into Brand Strategy and LCM, as well as collaborate with the SMM team for global clinical trials if appropriate. The Medical advisor would also collaborate and support the regulatory affairs and access team for responsible TA products registration and reimbursement approval

Further internal accountabilities might include the delivery of medical education and training, Nominated Signatory review for activities and promotional materials.
