CFO position with one of the leading healthcare focused USD funds investing globally. We are seeking a candidate who is an operationally oriented strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills who has worked in the VC/PE industry. The person is expected to provide leadership to the financial organization and oversea investor relationships and coordinate compliance related areas at the firm.

Responsibility:

1. Financial:
   • Provide leadership to the overall financial function
   • Lead and establish financial infrastructure and system, and development and implement financial strategy and plans for the fund and the firm
   • Responsible for all financial reporting, forecasting, and annual audits
   • Establish and implement cash management strategy to smooth fluctuation in capital deployment
   • Responsible for the tracking of fund and portfolio company financials and performances
   • Work with tax advisors to establish the optimal structures and system
2. InvestorRelationship
   • Lead quarterly and annual reporting and communication to investors on fund/portfolio company performances
   • Lead investor communication and coordination at fundraising
   • Responsible for maintaining relationships with the investor community and all external parties that require funds financial information.
3. Compliance
   • Establish and manage internal control and compliance system
   • Work with counsel to coordinate and oversee all compliance aspects of the funds and the firm.

Candidate Profile:

1. 10+ years of experience in a financial function of an organization
2. Prior controller or CFO experience in a VC/PE fund, USD fund experience required
3. Familiar with accounting principles, CICPA a must
4. Experience of responsibility for the quality and content of financial data, reporting and audit coordination
5. Strategic vision with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
6. Strong interpersonal and communication  skills
7. Strong leadership skills marked by a collaborative team orientation
